It fells wonderful to be back painting at apple island. It has been a long break in painting after two years of intense landscape photography. I feel it is essential to keep on learning. To change your artistic practice and not be afraid of the consequences. Landscape has become an essential part of my life and I am wanting to express this in painting and photography. They have always had a creative dialogue that helps inform and enrich each other. Photography helps capture the decisive moment while art helps me to consider the mood and story I want to portray.
