About your teacher
I have taught photography for over 15 years. In this time to a variety of age groups. I am a practising photographer and artist. I want to share with you my passion for photography and to create an informal and engaging learning environment that is tailored to your needs.

Online classes
These classes are designed to introduce you to using your camera and editing photography using photoshop and lightroom. The group sizes are limited to 8 for all sessions. If you would like to see more online please see my youtube channel.
landscape photography tutorials (in person)
These tutorials are in small groups from 1 to 4 people. They take place on location in and around the west country and allow you time to develop your composition skills and technical understanding. This session is suitable for beginners or intermediate level photographers. These sessions will be tailored to your requirements. They are designed for an intermediate photographer or a beginner.
Beginner Photography Classes (in person)
All classes take place in the Batheaston village hall. This is a new building with excellent facilities including free parking. It is situated less than three miles from the centre of Bath. There is a maximum of 8 adults for this session.
This course will offer insight into how to use a DSLR, mirrorless or any digital camera. I will teach a range of practical skills use of depth of field, Shutter speed, ISO, lighting. This particular course focuses on using the camera only and will not cover any photographic editing.
What you need to bring:
A camera with one lens, appropriate clothing and lunch/waterIf you have available: a tripod, filters, lens
