My Images are deliberately exposed closely to the original image I took on the day. I liked the textures and contrast in the original shot without artificially brightening the foreground. I try not use HDR photography or over editing. I want to retain the mood in the shot that I saw at the time to preserve that moment in time. The integrity of the image is essential. I ee each image as a meditation on a space and time. Capturing the mood of the place either seeing in colour or black and white. When I shoot in black and white I try to think in black and white consider the tone, contrasts and textures. Over edited images or images with sky replacements add to the a surreal body of hyper real images that do not do landscape justice. Every location has its own character and mood that is essential to preserve in the image.
